Anna Feiereisen
Anna is an advisor at MatchLocal. She is an experienced professional with a strong background in donor relations, conflict research, and development cooperation in Sub-Saharan Africa. At the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, she played a key role in managing donor relationships and coordinating development projects in Somalia and South Sudan. Her work involved developing technical and financial proposals, ensuring compliance with reporting standards, and providing strategic support during government negotiations.
Earlier in her career, Anna gained expertise in climate change adaptation and conflict mediation practices while working with the Friedrich Ebert Foundation in Kenya and the Arnold Bergstraesser Institute.
Most recently, she has focused on evaluating citizen participation in sustainability-related urban issues for the Körber Foundation. Anna also contributed to the Heidelberg Institute for International Conflict Research as Head of the Methodology Department, where her work supported the annual Conflict Barometer publications.
