MatchLocal is an independent non-profit organisation strengthening local leadership in crisis affected areas.

We believe in localisation as a powerful driver for enhanced resilience and sustainable peace and development.

Local organisations are important “change agents” in crisis-affected areas. However, a lack of access to appropriate funding prevents these agents to effectively meet local needs and drive change for human development in their societies.

We want to see strong local actors driving positive change in their societies.

Our mission is to support local organisations in implementing their solutions through better access to international funding. Through sharing capacities and bridging gaps between local organisations and donors, we make local ideas, donor requirements and international commitments match.

We work closely with specialised partners and experts in the Matchmakers Community to provide a comprehensive “one-stop-shop” approach to the specific needs of local organisations.
