MatchLocal’s Organisational Capacity Strengthening Training offers the perfect opportunity for donors, foundations, and other actors to support their local partner organisations in their organisational development and contribute to localisation.

Our Organisational Capacity Strengthening Training

Your selected local partner organisations take part in our free online Self-Assessment questionnaire which allows them to identify their strengths and areas for growth across critical areas such as fundraising, PMEAL, finance & accounting, and more.

Once completed, we provide you with a free, detailed needs assessment report, summarising the outcomes and including recommendations.  

Based on the self-assessment outcomes, we collaborate with you and your local partners to co-design a workshop series tailored to your partners' priorities.

Based on the insights provided through the self-assessment questionnaire, we offer flexible and scalable training models tailored to your needs.

  • A focused, two-session series tackling key organisational challenges. Your local partners will gain practical tools and strategies to address immediate priorities. They provide a targeted introduction to organisational capacity building and growth areas.

    Cost: 5,000 € - 10,000 €

  • A comprehensive four-session series covering key organisational development areas, offering a deeper exploration of additional topics to address a wider range of capacity-strengthening needs. It can also be used to train staff in project management and ensure knowledge sharing.

    Cost: 8,000 € - 15,000 €

  • MatchLocal offers a comprehensive six-month development program combining six workshops with ongoing mentorship to support sustained progress and practical application of new skills. During mentorship, local organizations receive guidance on current challenges like grant proposal reviews, communication strategies, M&E enhancement, or implementing new finance software. This approach ensures continuous support rather than one-time training, with mentors available to answer questions, provide resources, and help implement workshop outcomes.

    Cost: 25,000 € - 50,000 €

The options are flexible and can be customised to meet both your and your partner’s specific needs. Please note that prices may vary based on whether workshops are conducted online or on-site, and whether interpretation is required.
